Before making a new source in mythtv using tv_grab_pt_meo, I used the 
grabber standalone with --configure and established a new channels list. 
Then I used the grabber to actually grab the program listing and I got:

So, it isn't working as you already said? Is there any way around this? 
Should I resort to xmltv support instead? (I've already opened a ticket)
