Hate to tell you, but VAAPI is totally broken in 0.25.
William and I have been guinea pigging it trying to get it to work...and the person who coded most of the VAAPI 0.25 support is off on the Torc fork of MythTV now :-P

Yes, you can brute force it, but deinterlacing isn't as good...
