I have the same configuration under 0.26-pre and Mythbuntu 10.04 with
a 2.6.32 kernel. Other than an occasional 'no audio' problem, the
analog side is fine. Its connected to a cable box.

Correct, although /dev/video0 was populated automatically for me.

Mine is /dev/vbi0, and I'm quite sure I didn't set it myself.

Don't.

Can you use SchedulesDirect? The Wiki says to scan for Digital
channels, but doesn't even mention scanning for Analog
(http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Hauppauge_HVR-1600#Backend_Setup.)
