[mythtv-users] New Android client for MythTV

There is a new Android MythTV client currently being developed. It's in a
very early alpha stage and can do basic playback of recordings. The
application takes advantage of the new API and HTTP live streaming
available in MythTV 0.25. You need to be running Honeycomb or newer on
your Android device. You'll also need to install an external video player
that can do hardware acceleration. BSPlayer Lite works well.

The new application is being developed by John Baab(Mythbuntu), Dan
Frey(OpenSchedule) and Tom Kenny(Mythmote).

Unlike the other app on the marketplace this one is going to be F/OSS
(GPLv2) from the get go.
