Yes. I have configured 2 per tuner, and it works well.

Yes. I've been using Mythbuntu for a couple of years with an HD Homerun, and it works fine.

No. I use the Mac OS thick client. Although you very rarely need to use it.

Don't know really. I've had much better performance with the HDHR that I had with PCI tuners.
