[mythtv-users] Recommended distro?

I don't understand the relevance of this as Mythbuntu uses XFCE and linhes
hides any desktop from the user.

While any distribution could be used for myth, all recommendations so far
are for the original poster to stick to a myth specific distribution.

Btw, XFCE looks much like gnome 2.
