[mythtv-users] Very slow mythfilldatabase after fresh mythbuntu 12.04 install?

I have a PC (3.1 GHz 2-core AMD 64) running mythbuntu 10.10 with mythtv
0.24-fixes. I backed up the database. The backup is about 12 MB in size. I
did a fresh install of mythbuntu 12.04. Then I restored the database and
ran the backend setup program. It looks like that worked OK.

Then I exited the backend setup. As usual it asked if I wanted to run
mythfilldatabase. I clicked OK, and I'm sitting here almost two hours later
and mythfilldatabase is still running.

I monitor the PC with htop and I see that there's little cpu and memory
usage but the load averages are above 2, and the hard disk access light is
on solid.

I'm seeing no errors in mythbackend.log or mythfilldatabase.log and the
"Running mythfilldatabase" window adds a few lines every 30-45 minutes or
so.

Is it normal for this to take so long?
