[mythtv-users] mythtv not deleting recordings

as per the subject really; when deleting a recording via mythweb or an
FE, the actual .mpg files are not being deleted.

mythweb shows 49 recordings. i actually have 149 .mpg files in my
'recordings' SG (excluding the *.png files)
mythweb does correctly remove them from the 'Recorded Programs' list.

'top' says mythbackend is running as 'mythtv' user
permissions are:

i haven't yet ran the script 'mythtv_orphan.py' (or whatever the name
is), as this appears to be occurring on all recordings rather than 1
or 2 stray ones.

i have moved the default 'default' SG to another drive location, but
as you can see above, it is creating files ok with (imo) correct
permissions so it should be able to delete them too.

i'm running mythbuntu 11.04 x64 with mythtv 0.24.1, around 2 weeks old
on updates..
