Sure, lots of things are possible-- but it's the script not returning
that's holding things up.  Either the script or metadata lookup could have
a timeout implemented.  Since this issue only tends to come up in MythVideo
when the sources go down (usually TVDB) it's extremely transient.  Also,
since we test connectivity to the sites at the beginning of the metadata
lookup run, the instances of a problem are very, very few and far between.
 It may be that a local mirror of TVDB to you is actually having a problem
and thus the issue is causing you trouble more often.
