I must say that audio in myth has improved enormously since you
wrestled it into shape. Thanks for that, i am looking forward to
seeing the (further) improvements in 0.25. I know I could probably get
them backported into 0.24 via your repo, but my system is working fine
on mythbuntu repos (0.24-fixes), so I won't fiddle.

I have switched between hdmi, analogue and spdif on a number of
frontends recently as we shifted house, it took a while to get the 5.1
system setup and I tried new frontend machines on various tv's. The
switch in each case was easy given the ability now to scan for audio
devices and choose what is then usually an obvious candidate from the
list presented.
