[mythtv-users] Stuttering audio on AC3/DTS content

Hello, all!
I have a bit of a conundrum. I did a weekly update on my systems over the
weekend and pulled the then-latest commit from master. 3 out of the 4
boxes came back without issue. The 4th box is (of course) the most used
and the one experiencing issues. Any time I play a video with AC3 or DTS
content, it plays fine for a second or two then starts "stuttering". I
found a few older DVD rips I made using MP3 audio and they play back fine.
I've tested the same content on two other boxes and they play fine. I'm
assuming the 4th is fine, but it's a headless MBE.
The system upgrades were almost identical across the boxes. I've tried
reverting back to the previous build as well as pulling again from a newer
commit without any love. Given that the original build now does the same
thing, I'm fairly certain it's nothing within Myth itself that is causing
the problem. I've tinkered with every audio/video setting that I can come
up with on this box without any apparent affect.
On a side note, the videos and recordings play back fine on the same box
under mplayer and XBMC. I'm not sure if that is of any relevance.
I'm hoping someone can suggest something I've missed or haven't tried. In
between 02/19 and 02/16, I didn't change the settings in Myth or alsa.
Audio is routed over HDMI. If it wasn't working on the other boxes, I'd
submit a bug. Sit it does, here I am. I'm happy to provide any other
information needed.
