Folks,

Are these warning messages in my mythbackend.log something to be worried
about? I get them on start up of the backend.

2012-02-18 08:28:02.729 DVBChan(6:/dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0) Warning:
Your frequency setting (10773250) is out of range. (min/max:950000/2150000)
2012-02-18 08:28:04.623 DVBChan(7:/dev/dvb/adapter2/frontend0) Warning:
Unsupported fec_inner parameter.
2012-02-18 08:28:02.906 DVBChan(8:/dev/dvb/adapter2/frontend0) Warning:
Your frequency setting (11307000) is out of range. (min/max:950000/2150000)

I can watch LiveTV and record/play back recordings on the system.

MythTV Version: 'fixes/0.24 [v0.24.2-13-g074fb6e]
OS: Ubuntu 11.10.
Configuration: Combined BE/FE
Location: UK
Tuner: TBS 6981 Dual DVB-S2

When I scanned for channels I use the advice on
http://parker1.co.uk/mythtv_freesat.php i.e. two scans with parameters
as follows:

Freq: 10714000
Polarity: Horizontal
Symbol rate: 22000000
Mod Sys: DVB-S
FEC: 5/6
Modulation: QPSK
Inversion: leave at auto
Rolloff: leave at 0.35

Freq: 10847000
Polarity: Vertical
Symbol rate: 23000000
Mod Sys: DVB-S2
FEC: 8/9
Modulation: QPSK
Inversion: leave at auto
Rolloff: leave at 0.35

My 'channelscan_dtv_multiplex' table seems to contain multiple entries for each of the frequencies listed in the warning messages (two rows per scan).

Are these 'just' warnings or do they hint that something is mis-configured?

Gav
