it would have saved the old /etc/apache2/sites-available/mythweb.conf
as /etc/apache2/sites-available/mythweb.conf.dpkg-old

just restore the old version, there is no significan change to that
file, so just restore the old one you had that worked

I had the same issue.
I too upgraded to master yesterday
