I may have figured this out.  I tried the HdHomerun on a Win7 and 
MythBuntu boxes (newer builds); both worked fine.  So, I checked out the 
video board on the test box....nvidia 6200 family with 128 meg of ram (AGP).

I upgraded the nvidia drivers (195.xx.xx to 290.10), which seems to have 
made a difference.  All channels worked in LiveTv so I'm running an 
all-day test.
