[mythtv-users] overscan and video deletion issues

I have noticed a couple of issues while looking into the vaapi use on
sandy bridge using the latest master.
1. Overscan - I think this is overscan so someone can correct me. There
looks to be a small area at the top of the screen that looks like it is
rolled over. I found that I can correct it manually by selecting
M>video>Advanced>Video Scan>Progessive, Detect shows I before the
change. This only happens for the 1080 channels and sandy bridge. The
other nvidia setups are not effected.
2. When deleting a video, by selecting "D" in the browse videos, all the
artworks disappears for a few seconds, the text stays displayed then the
artwork resumes and things seem normal. Also during this time if I
escape out, there is a transparent view of the browse videos on the
other screens until it is finished then the other screens look normal.
This happens on both sandy bridge and nvidia setups.
I'm not sure what info I should supply to help determine the cause.
