[mythtv-users] 0.26-fixes - need to change video renderer

I'm experiencing a number of failed playback attempts when trying to watch
recorded tv. The problem appears random, but will always affect a specific
recording when it does happen; at first I thought a corrupt recording.

i've ran 'mythfrontend -v', and the output is here:
http://pastebin.com/yf385yzx

i'm currently running the latest 0.26-fixes on both the FE affected and BE.
Reboots of the FE has no effect.
Mythweb sugests the file is ok (thumbnail & correct filesize)
Downloading the 'broken' recording via mythweb and playing with VLC on a
Win7 machine works fine.
Changing video render from 'VDPAU Normal', to 'VDPAU Slim', or 'Normal'
profiles has no positive effect.

FE hardware is HP 6530b laptop, running mythbuntu 12.04.1 LTS (GNU/Linux
3.2.0-34-generic x86_64).
