[mythtv-users] recent BE segfaults: how mythtv segmentation fault handler can help ?

My very stable BE recently started to segfaulting :-(
I suspect PSU, but I want to be sure this isn't problem of running software.
I assume HW problem will manifest in higher randomness of segfault while
SW issue will show some correlation between running function, process
and code segfaulting.

When BE start I see something like this:

kernel.log shows this:
Dec 11 08:17:40 [429676.690336] mythlogserver[31227]: segfault at 0 ip
(null) sp 00007f221b5b36c8 error 14 in mythlogserver[400000+3000]

I think mythlogserver is not root cause but rather follows dead BE...

Generally I would say not a lot of info :-(

So I'm wonder what is exactly benefit of:
2012-12-11 08:17:41.312418 I Setup Segmentation fault handler
and how can I benefit from it in my case.

As this is production system, I want to avoid running BE under gdb....

BE is launched via systemd with following command line:
/usr/bin/mythbackend --syslog none --nodblog
OS is Archlinux, kernel is 3.4.19

Any pointers for helping me quickly resolve are very appreciated !
