[mythtv-users] "JudderFree" and DVDs?

I've followed the directions at
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/User_Manual:JudderFree and I successfully see
my TV switch to 24fps when I play a video that is 24fps.

However, when I play a(n NTSC) DVD my TV doesn't switch to 24fps to play
the DVD title in it's native, progressive 24fps format.  Is this
supposed to work?
