[mythtv-users] Help on solving segfault on mythfrontend start.

Hello all,

I currently have a weird problem. After upgrading from 0.25.0 to 0.25.2,
mythfrontend segfaults directly after startup. This is a type of problem I
have never run into before.
I don't believe this is a mythtv problem, but rather a  problem on my side,
otherwise more of you would be reporting this.

But how can I find out what is causing this? I did an ldd on
mythfrontend.real (I'm running mythbuntu) but all libraries seem to be
fine. Although I can't rule there is still a versioning problem there.
I did a dist-upgrade, so I should be on the latest versions of all
packages. A remnant of an old ppa? I disabled and purged the PPAs  I was
using previously, but that didn't help.

Interestingly (or not), mythfrontend starts fine if the backend is not
running...

Any hint, or advice on how to track this problem is helpful at this point!
