[mythtv-users] Moving Recordings to MythVideo

Hi Guys,

Sorry if this has been answered before but I could not find any clean way to do this.

Is there a method whereby I could move a recorded program to Mythvideo, while keeping its metadata and a human readable name?

All I have seen documented is to use mythlink to give it a human readable name, copy it to mythvideo, run an update and grab the metadata. 

While I agree this would work it is quite a convoluted way of moving something which:

A) Already has the recording title,
B) Already has the metadata and 
C) Is already known by myth.

A simple menu item when the recording is highlighted "Move To Videos" would be nice :)
