Sounds fine in principle but there is nothing stopping the recording
being deleted when it shouldn't be unless you can disable the Delete
option in MythTV.

It would also depend on how easy it is to remove tags and perhaps
force MythTV to display just specific tags.

Currently if you have two users of MythTV you have to duplicate all
recordings as one user may delete their copy before the other user has
watched the recording.

Regardless, the tags sound like a great idea.

If proper multiple user support is also introduced it would be even better.

Multiple user support also sounds like a mammoth task, perhaps a good
idea to split it into smaller tasks and tackle each part at a time -
i.e. the whole of MythTV doesn't need to be multiple user at once.
