And, in truth, I /highly/ recommend that you manually back up the 
database before attempting an upgrade rather than rely on the automatic 
backup*.  Once you create a backup, put a copy of it in some 
not-part-of-your DB Backups or Default storage group directory on a file 
system that won't get messed up/overwritten/... by any upgrades.

*And I can say so, since I'm the guy who wrote the code to attempt to
