[mythtv-users] Minimal hard drive specs for HD recording. (RPM, buffer size, SATA I, II, or III ?)

I'm setting up my MythTV server.
I'm wondering what the minimum spec should be for the recording hard drives
for a Myth backend that will be feeding 3 to 5 front ends as well as
simultaneously recording from 2 HD PVRs.
How about a single 3TB Hitachi Deskstar 5K3000 ? 5400 RPM, 32 MB buffer, 6
Gb/sec SATA spec.
Should it be run on a 6 Gb/sec interface or would 3 Gb/sec suffice ? How
about 1.5 Gb/sec ?
Will seek time (ie drive RPM) or buffer size make a big difference in
performance when serving content to multiple FEs while recording ?
Thanks !
