[mythtv-users] Griffin Beacon - Ipad/Ipod Remote control..?

Anyone using a griffin beacon with an ipod/ipad on their system?

What kind of reviews can u give?

I'm
 thinking about getting one of these and can't tell if it uses the iPad 
keyboard for textual input? Also, I'm curious about longevity of battery life and other 
operational issues that you might be running into...
