[mythtv-users] issues with Fedora lirc 0.90

I have recently completed a upgrade from FC13 --> FC15 and just about the only issue I 
have is my lirc is missing or dropping ir keys.
every other or frequently the button doesn't work.
eg I press cursor down and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
I'm at a lost to know how to debug this or gather diagnositic data.

I'm using a Digital Now (DNTV) Pro  (DVB-T) in Australia, it was working 100% in FC13.

I'm guessing some driver problems or conflict perhaps with my old FC13 and the new 0.90 
kernal modules.
It uses the [nec] driver not sure if that helps.

Can anyone point me the way on how to resolve this anti-WAF issue?

what sort of info do I need to supply to fix this?
