[mythtv-users] 5.1 Card with *Coax* SP/DIFF Output?

In the past, I have used a Sigma Designs Hollywood Plus card for coax
digital output (also known as the Creative DXR3). It was released as a
MPEG1/2 decoder card, but its digital audio output is well-supported
by the folks at http://dxr3.sourceforge.net.

It supports passthrough for Dolby Digital and DTS, and it also
supports sample rates from 32kHz to 48kHz (I haven't tested with
higher sample rates).

Since DVD decoder cards are largely unnecessary with modern hardware,
I would imagine they can be picked up very cheaply.
