Is 0.0.0.0 even legal? It looks wrong on so many levels. localhost is of course 
127.0.0.1 which is not the same at all, and it's actually part of the 
127.0.0.0/8 subnet. I don't know what subnet 0.0.0.0 would be in. If it works, I 
guess you've hit some weird corner case in the IP stack handling.

Don't do it. Give your boxes all a genuine address in the 192.168.x.x/24 range 
instead, and watch things work the way they are supposed to.
