i seem to recall seeing something about this plugin that it will no be
available in the mid-long term - is this correct or am i confused?

if it is going to be ceased, then theres not much point in continuing this
thread, but if not, a brief description of my problems:
i'm having a few issues with bbc iplayer (video not ready, try again later),
and also the video overlay where it appears to have 2 background videos that
go outside of the screen draw area. but the actual correct video position is
ontop of these and displays ok.

iplayer works fine when using firefox from the mythbuntu machine.

qt/openGL renderer has no effect on this, and i'm using mythbuntu with
0.24.1, mythtv repos updated around 4 hours ago.
it might also be worth noting that this is the first time i've used
mythnetvision plugin, so its not something that did work and now doesnt.
