[mythtv-users] IR keyboard, learning remotes?

I used an IR keyboard and learning remote for several years, as
discussed in
<URL:http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/186031#186031>.

I moved to LIRC with the remote ago after obtaining a IR receiver as
part of a HDHomeRun, and deciding that the disadvantages (the "stuck"
issue Shanon mentions; the inability to auto-repeat buttons)
outweighed the advantages. After a few hours of head-scratching while
setting LIRC up for the first time, it's been 100% trouble-free. I
still use the keyboard when necessary.
