But yes, i did fail to describe the problem. The sound plays brief, 1
second maybe and then quiet, and then repeats after 2-3 seconds of no
sound, at the same time as the picture is very jerky and updates maybe one
picture every 2 seconds.

I could do a update and see if the problem is still present, as it is now
i'm running v0.25pre-3756-gc669f93.
