[mythtv-users] alternate profile for Videos that won't play using VDPAU

I don't think it is a bug, at least not with the internal player. The
videos "can" play ok on the internal player just not on this box under
VDPAU. I guess it is a codec limitation of VDPAU. I haven't ascertained
the particular codec yet.

This is what I was thinking about this morning. I was thinking about
re-encoding them for my ipod anyway.

I already tried to do this using the "Alternate Player" option but then
found that it does not work with "Storage Groups". That is what
initially prompted this email. The "Alternate Player" option was
attractive to me because you could press "I" and select a different
player if a specific video was not playing correctly.
