I'm very curious about this---are you talking about automatically
grabbing shows recorded via a newer schema and putting them back into
an older one (because you stepped back a version in Myth after a test),
or only with the same schema, or possibly going forward as well?

If the versions don't match, is there a theory for how to do this
without a big developer maintenance headache? The forward direction
seems easier, since the backend can already do it, but the BE typically
does it for -all- recordings at once and not one or a few---but the case
of stepping -forward- for one or a few is the one I care most about.
Backwards seems like a tremendous testing problem, but if it's
solvable, that's also very interesting.

(I have a particular reason for my question, but it may be moot
depending on the answer, so I'll spare you unless you'd like details.)

Thanks!
