[mythtv-users] Creating .rpms from source

Hey, all --

I'm looking for a way of producing installable MythTV rpms
from the most recent stable code.

I installed MythTV from rpm packages on my Fedora 14 machine,
but because of some annoying problems, I want to try building
from source in the hopes that those problems (display
goes dark when ending a live TV viewing session until the
frontend process is killed, live TV seems roughly half speed, etc.).

I have heard that it's a good idea to install as rpms when
on an rpm-based machine. So does anybody out there have an
rpm creation process that they can point me to? There's
one I found on the web, but it's out-of-date.

I've heard that several people have put some kind of rpm generation
together. Can anybody help me out?
