Their response sounds a lot like they aren't completely familiar with
Linux TV applications/development. I would imagine they're simply
stating that DVB applications do need extended for DVB-T2 to avoid any
backlash from $otheros users that are wondering why their [proprietary]
application doesn't pick-up HD channels.

Interesting that they're considering Linux support, however. As far as
I'm aware, Blackgold's support for Linux has been patchy at best.
