I would go for Mythbuntu LTS any day; stable 2.6.32 kernel and less
fancy/unstable stuff. The LTS releases also receive special attention from
the Mythbuntu team, as Mythbuntu support each LTS version until the release
of the next LTS version, two years later. Non-LTS releases will only receive
updates for MythTV release N+1, where N is the version initially included
with the distribution. Eg. Mythbuntu 10.10 initially had MythTV 0.23 with
the possibility of upgrading to 0.24 through the autobuilds. MythTV 0.25
will never be provided as Mythbuntu autobuilds for 10.10, but it will be
made available for 10.04 LTS, so you don't have to update the whole OS just
to get the latest MythTV version.

At least that is what their website says, I don't know how they will handle
future dependencies if they aren't available in the 10.04 LTS repositories.
