[mythtv-users] USB Shared drive recording to

I recently got a 1.5TB drive for $60.00.  Figured it would be nice to store
all my movies on, as the 500gb drive I had dedicated to it is about 70%
full.  So I attached it to the Acer Revo machine in my living room and
shared it with samba.  I have it mounted on both mythtv machines along with
my laptop.  So I added it as a storage group on the backend.  However, if it
tries to record to it, it just creates a file 0 size.  I know it has
read/write permisions cause i can nano test write and save that file.

Is it just not feasible to go over network to USB for video?
