they are in par with the GT220.

People wondering what is the problem discussed in that nvidia thread?
For deinterlacing, one will do deinterlace + HQ scaling at 280 field/s
vs 200 field/s (GT430).

Now keep in mind: how often are you going to need anything faster than
60 field/s? never
Do you have content that is higher than 200Hz interlaced? I'm not aware of any.

When it comes to gaming, the GT430 will perform better too.

The GT430 is a better choice for a media PC today.
The GT220 was the best choice for a media PC a year ago.
The 9500GT was the best choice for a media PC two years ago
The 8400GS was the best choice for a media PC when VDPAU was introduced.
