[mythtv-users] Question while trying to setup a HDPVR

Ok so I have the driver working with my system, I have a /dev/video0, I was 
able to get the IR blaster working with my sattilite box, was able to use the 
send_power_new script and the box powered off and configured /etc/lircd.conf.  

I thought everything was working so I launched Mythfrontend and whent to watch 
live and mythtv was unable to get a channel lock but if I cat /dev/video0 > 
test.ts and view it with VLC I have both video and audio.  I went to check my 
settings under mythtv-setup and for the Capture Card Setup I see this error in 
the Audio input:  "ERROR, Compile with V4L support to query audio inputs".  
This is just using the stock driver from my 2.6.39 kernel.  Do I need to build 
the driver from the Linuxtv git repo?
