[mythtv-users] I need to specify which channels are recordable by which dvb-s2 card

So you need to delete all the extra channels the grabber made, then add the xmltvids to the channels that your scans found for both sources. I have a small xmltv file so this is easier, once all the channels in the xmltv file have their xmltvids in your scanned channels then there won't be any extra non working channels created and the epg data will fill in for the correct channels.

Hmm thanks, that makes sense. I will try to setup once again, everything 
visible (this is perhaps what was creating new channels). Hmm I guess I 
also need two different lineups from my provider also: one with all 
channels for the good card, and one with only the sd channels for the 
old one.
