[mythtv-users] MMUnix::AddDevice() Error: failed to stat

Following suggestions and some additional surches --- This is what I did:

    installed linux 2.6.38-1  (and associated headers and common)
    gary at debian:~$git clone -b fixes/0.24 git://github.com/MythTV/mythtv.git
    gary at debian:~$git pull fixes/0.24 git://github.com/MythTV/mythtv.git
    Re-booted to the 2.6.38 kernel
    installed the mythtv fixes just retrieved.


The results: Still getting errors and */no watch tv/*

One problem, Im not quit sure which card type to select in 
capture-card-setup  --- I have a hauppauge pvr-150; I believe it should 
be "ivtv mpeg-2 encoder card" or "analog v4l caplure card" - but which one?

getting many errors like so:

    2011-05-31 20:31:13.790 MythFontProperties, Error: Failed to load
    'Droid Sans', got 'Bitstream Vera Sans' instead
                 Location:
    /usr/local/share/mythtv/themes/default-wide/base.xml @ 48
