All of the mythtv customizations I use on my own systems are here:

   http://rtr.ca/mythtv_patches/

First, don't be scared by the number of patches you see on my server.
I try to keep each of them small, but that does make them more numerous.

Most of the patches there are to reenable use of the "left/right" arrow
keys for menu navigation in the front-end. Mythtv used to work that way
by default back in 0.21 (and maybe 0.22). I restore the functionality
in my own copy due to the high WAF bonus it gives. :)

For just the "dynamic buffersize" fixes (backported from master),
you'll be wanting patch numbers 40,42,43,44,45, and optionally 46.

If you also want the "anti-stutter" fix from master (recommended),
then grab patch number 47 from the collection. This patch can be used
all by itself, with or without any of the other patches.

Cheers
