I recently upgraded my myth server to ubuntu 11.04, and nuvexport
doesn't work for me. I realize that it is supposed to use mythffmpeg
to stabilize the interface, however, I'm running into an interface
problem: nuvexport --debug produces the following command:
/usr/bin/nice -n19 mythffmpeg -threads 2 -y -f s16le -ar 32000 -ac 2
-i /tmp/fifodir_6132/audout -f rawvideo -pix_fmt yuv420p -s 480x480
-aspect 1.33333333333333 -r 29.970 -i /tmp/fifodir_6132/vidout -aspect
1.3333 -r 29.97 -deinterlace -vf
slicify,crop=468:468:6:6,scale=720:480,setsar=1 -b '6000k' -vcodec
mpeg2video -qmin 7 -ab '192k' -ar 48000 -acodec mp2 -f dvd
'./video.mpg' 2>&1

mythffmpeg produces the following error: No such filter: 'setsar'
Error opening filters!

I'm running the nuvexport git branch 'fixes/0.24' and I get the same
result whether I am using the standard ubuntu11.04 version of myth or
the mythtv-updates ppa on ubuntu version right now:mythfrontend
