When I had that problem, it was a matter of changing the deinterlacer,
which is under "Playback Profiles" in the "Playback" setup menus.
I've got my Primary deinterlacer set to "One field", but really I just
messed around with it until it stopped doing what you're seeing.  My
main FE is an nVidia, and I'm debating selling this ATI card in the BE
(which I have the FE software on because I occasionally watch TV on
it), and getting an nVidia for it, too.
