[mythtv-users] "Timed out waiting for free video buffers" when playing recordings or live tv

One of my Frontends is Mythbuntu 10.10 (upgraded from at least 10.04, maybe
older) running 0.24-fixes and a 9400GT 512mb video card. I recently moved to
a new house and finally got most of my myth infrastructure working. When I
first set this box up I was able to playback recordings without issue, but
after running some updates I now get a blank screen when trying to play any
recordings or live TV. The following is in my logs:

2011-01-17 23:00:27.657 VDPAU: Information NVIDIA VDPAU Driver Shared

At this point I have to kill mythfrontend. Initially I was using the
Restricted Nvidia drivers from within Ubuntu, so I tried disabling those and
installing the latest Nvidia driver package from their site, with the same
result. Anybody have any ideas?
