I certainly do not remember your previous email, but it would be
helpful if you told us what CPU. Pentium 4, Athlon, etc. More
importantly what video card do you have and are you using VDPAU? 0.21
never officially supported VDPAU, but there were backports available
for Ubuntu, Fedora, and possibly others. If your system supports
PCI-E, getting a new video card capable of VDPAU would cost much less
than a new machine. A new video card may extend the life of your
current system.
