Thanks for that information, Douglas. According to what I read at the 
wikipedia article on HDTV, there are three different types of HD: 720p, 
1080p, and 1080i. Is that correct?

If so, then it appears, from looking at information at the silicondust 
link, that only one of the 7 stations (broadcasting on two frequencies) 
that most interest me broadcasts in HD. The resolution for channel 10.1 is 
listed as 1280x720p which, I would guess, makes it 720p. The other 
channels that interest me are all either 704x480i or 480x480i resolution: 
these latter qualify, for my purposes, as SD rather than HD, correct?

Ok, thanks. I'll check out that one too.

PS It looks like there are only 7 out of a total of 38 OTA stations that 
can be picked up in my area that are actually broadcasting in HD.
