A bug with this error message has been reported:

In fact there may be many different bugs reporting this message, but don't open another ticket since it will be marked a
duplicate and you will be chewed out for not searching and finding the "duplicate" even if you did and thought your bug was
different enough to warrant a new ticket.

Do not add a "me too" post or the thread will be locked (the linked thread was locked for this reason).

Don't argue with the moderator, it will only piss him off.

Try to keep the moderator happy so he continues to work on MythTV.

I am not the moderator, just a user who has been reading this mailing list for a while.

Unfortunately this bug has been marked "Priority: minor", and there have been no updates so it appears that no one is working on
it. (emphasis on "appears")

There appears to be an attitude that if you are using the "Watch TV" option, that you are not using MythTV the way you should,
even if you only use "Watch TV" to debug your tuners and identify channels.
