The projectx and h.264 conclusion was from a google search for "projectx
h264", which gives:

The official ProjectX site indicates otherwise, though:

I suppose that I need to do a better job of finding authoritative
sources for information rather than relying on google! :)
I came across the script hdpvr_lossless_cut.sh which looks like it may
work for manually cutting commercials, producing an MKV file output.
Doe anybody have any experience (good or bad) with this?
