My Upcoming Recording screen shows a scheduling conflict, and I can't
figure out the cause of the conflict. I'm attempting to record several
shows back-to-back on one tuner of a dual-tuner HDHR, with each show
starting one minute early and ending one minute late. I have multirec
set up on this tuner, and I've successfully been recording this same
block of shows, with overlap, for some time now. I've verified that no
other recordings are scheduled during these time slots.
The shows in question are the Thursday night NBC lineup (Community,
The Office, 30 Rock) on Jan 13. My guide info comes from Schedules
Direct, and I'm recording over the air. My schedule looks like this:
7:59-8:31, Community, previously recorded
8:29-9:01, Community, will record on tuner 1
8:59-9:31, The Office, will record on tuner 2
9:29-10:01, The Office, conflict
9:59-10:31, 30 Rock, will record on tuner 1
10:29-11:01, 30 Rock, will record on tuner 2
I would expect the second Office to record on tuner 1, the first 30
Rock on tuner 2, and the second 30 Rock on tuner 1.
When I select the conflicting Office from the Upcoming Recordings
screen, it says it's in conflict with the 8:59-9:31 Office and
9:59-10:31 30 Rock. The only thing out of the ordinary I can see is
that the two Office episodes are parts 1 and 2 of a 2-parter. Could
Myth somehow think the first episode actually lasts the whole hour,
even though it says 8:59-9:31 everywhere I can find?
Thanks for any thoughts you may have on the cause of this conflict. If
I can look up additional information to help investigate, please let
me know.
