I still have this issue, and my problem is that I don't have
/sys/class/rc/rc0/protocols, and I can't create the file even as root. I am
running Fedora 14 x86_64 with kernel 2.6.35.11-83.fc14.x86_64. Why would I
not have the /sys/class/rc/rc0/protocols? In fact, I only have /sys/class.
The rc folder within /sys/class doesn't exist on my system. What am I
missing?

Thanks,

Derek
